DEAN Shiels spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s home Premiership clash against Glenavon…

The head coach reflected on Tuesday night’s draw away at Glentoran and how the squad is looking to make improvements, as well as being satisfied with things he has seen so far.

Shiels acknowledged that Glenavon will be “a dangerous opponent” and that his squad will not be taking anything for granted despite the Lurgan Blues failing to pick up a point from their three games to date.

With Coleraine playing their third game in eight days, Shiels says the coaching staff will look at the data before choosing their starting line-up.

Shiels said the atmosphere at the Ballymena game was “phenomenal” and that the fans are central to getting behind the team yet again.
