ASSISTANT head coach Michael O’Connor says the Bannsiders want to maintain their impressive home form as they welcome Crusaders to The Showgrounds on Sunday…

Coleraine have amassed one of the highest points total on home soil across the division so far this season and that statistic will be put to the test against Declan Caddell’s side.

The Bannsiders have lost 2-1 against Crusaders in their two previous meetings this term but O’Connor remarked that the players were unlucky to be beaten in both of those contests.

O’Connor also highlighted on the confidence in the camp after last weekend’s 4-0 triumph at Loughgall, which saw attacking trio Matthew Shevlin, Jamie McGonigle and Rhyss Campbell all on the scoresheet.

He further remarked on the competitiveness of the Irish League so far this season and heaped praise on Senan Devine after the teenager played all three games for Northern Ireland U19s recently.
