DEAN Shiels says the Bannsiders will have to be at their best if they are to pick up all three points against Portadown this weekend…

The Bannsiders face Portadown at home on Saturday and Shiels remarked how Niall Currie’s men are having a good season so far and that they have invested well in their squad.

Shiels started his weekly pre-match press conference by acknowledging how “everything came together” in last weekend’s 2-0 success at Linfield as Connor Murray netted a deadly brace at Windsor Park.

The head coach revealed that Alfie Gaston will miss the rest of the season through injury, with Dean Jarvis sitting out the last of his two-match ban.
