RONAN Doherty joked that he might watch his goal back a few times after getting off the mark in yesterday’s win against Portadown…

The midfielder broke the deadlock against Niall Currie’s men on 11 minutes after he curled a delightful effort into the far corner.

Doherty acknowledged the importance of keeping the momentum gained from last weekend’s victory at Linfield, as well as registering another clean sheet.

The 29-year-old also looks ahead to next weekend’s trip to Glenavon.
