COLERAINE FC would like to release the following statement regarding Josh Carson’s eligibility ahead of this weekend’s clash against Dungannon Swifts…

After receiving his fifth yellow card against Crusaders, the Club believed that Carson would be suspended for this weekend’s clash against Dungannon Swifts – but he was not named on the suspension list released last Friday.

As a result, the Club contacted NIFL and the IFA after noticing he was due a suspension. It is expected that he will be on the suspension list tomorrow and will miss the fixture against Ballinamallard United.
