DEAN Shiels spoke to Coleraine TV after last night’s 2-2 draw against Cliftonville at The Showgrounds…

The Bannsiders had to settle for a share of the spoils as Matthew Shevlin’s brace – either side of Ryan Curran’s opener – was cancelled out as Curran struck again with a late penalty.

Shiels remarked that Cliftonville had “to take risks” due to their need to win in order to finish in the top-six and that he was proud of his team for their character to respond to Curran’s breakthrough.

Coleraine are now unbeaten in their last five Premiership contests and Shiels commented on the good run his side have been on recently and that they need to finish the job off at home to Portadown on Saturday.
