Academy excited by new prospects

Last week some of the Coleraine FC Academy players travelled to the National Stadium to help launch the Danske Bank Irish Premiership season, in which we wish Oran and all the senior squad, the best of luck and much success… 

At the Academy itself, the excitement also continues to build for the new season as it’s reputation continues to thrive. The introduction of John Gregg as Head of Youth Development only adds further to the recognition already gained throughout Northern Ireland and further afield. As has three Schoolboy Internationals, twelve players being selected for SuperCupNI squads, and numerous players within the IFA excellence programmes.

Continued growth will this season see in excess of 30 teams pulling on the blue and white stripes, including our young ladies teams, the ‘Strikers’ disability junior and senior squads and not forgetting our Saturday morning primary school aged Soccer School.
