Decision making poor – OK

COLERAINE manager Oran Kearney believes decision making was the main factor as to why his side were beaten by Ballymena United…

The Bannsiders enjoyed plenty of possession and territory throughout the 90 minutes at Warden Street but ultimately fell to defeat as Ross Redman’s late free-kick bagged all three points for the hosts.

Kearney remarked that poor decision making and shooting meant they trailed for the first 65 minutes but felt that they would kick on after Matthew Shevlin’s equaliser on 65 minutes.

The boss conceded that he had no complaints with the two red cards brandished to Conor McDermott and Adam Mullan as the Stripes finished the contest with nine men.

A busy week of football sees Coleraine play Moyola Park on Tuesday in the North-West Cup before hosting Cliftonville at The Showgrounds next Saturday.
