Kearney believes his players have suffered a bit of ‘a hangover’ following their European exploits but hopes the win can kick start their 2020/21 campaign.

The boss was also impressed with the performance of Evan Tweed in the middle of the park once again, as well as labelling out Stewart Nixon for some praise.

The Bannsiders were without six or seven first-team stars for the fixture but Kearney is hopeful he will have a few returnees in the near future.
