The Bannsiders hit the top-of-the-table as two penalties from Ben Doherty sealed the win in North Belfast.

Kearney highlighted a mature mentality within the squad as they kept free-scoring Crusaders at bay, as well praising Eoin Bradley for his display at the attacking end of the pitch.

Whilst moving top of the table, Kearney acknowledged that everything can change within a blink of an eye, but has challenged his troops to remain there as long as possible.

The Stripes face Linfield next weekend at The Showgrounds, with Kearney excited about another big game on the Ballycastle Road.
