COLERAINE currently have two players out on loan and here’s a recap of how they got on during January…

Eamon Fyfe has linked-up again with former boss Niall Currie at Portadown whilst Lewis Tosh is currently embarking on a second successive loan at Limavady United.

Luca Doherty was recalled from a season-long loan at Limavady, where he made 18 appearances in all competitions.

EAMON FYFE

Eamon played in all five of Portadown’s games in all competitions and netted three times.

Portadown would start the month by beating Carrick Rangers on penalty-kicks in the fifth round of the Irish Cup.

The Ports would then beat H&W Welders in the Championship, before securing their berth in the BetMcLean Cup final after a 1-0 win against rivals Glenavon.

Fyfe would net a hat-trick in the Ports’ 5-2 victory against Dungannon Swifts to lift the Mid-Ulster Cup, with the month being completed by a 1-1 draw away at Dundela.

LEWIS TOSH

Lewis would play a part in all five of Limavady’s fixtures throughout January.

The Roesiders would start the month with a 3-2 win at home to Lisburn Distillery in the Premier Intermediate, with Lewis finding himself on the scoresheet.

A double-header against the PSNI would be up next as United banked all six points with a 2-0 win away and a 4-1 home success.

Lewis would then score in a 3-1 win in the Intermediate Cup against Fivemiletown, before netting yet again in a 1-1 draw in the Premier Intermediate.

Paul Owens’ side will be away to Queen’s University in the fourth round of the Intermediate Cup and are currently top of the Premier Intermediate League.
