McCready departs for Limavady United

COLERAINE FC can confirm that Joe McCready has returned to Limavady United…

The likeable striker was signed from the Roesiders in August and made his debut for the club in the 3-1 win away to Dungannon Swifts.

McCready made 20 appearances for the Bannsiders, scoring 4 goals – including the winner against Cliftonville at Solitude in October.

Coleraine manager Oran Kearney praised McCready for his attitude and wishes the striker all the best at Paul Owens’ side.

”I think Joe was a bit frustrated with his lack of game time and at his age he needs to be playing games,” Kearney said.

”His attitude to training was first class and I praised him in front of the players on Tuesday.

”He arrived here in August very swiftly and its only right that we let Joe leave without a hitch so he can have a great second half to the season.

”I wish him nothing but the best.”

Everyone at Coleraine FC thanks Joe for his contribution in the Stripes and wishes him the best of luck at Limavady United.
