The Bannsiders made it back-to-back victories in the Danske Bank Premiership as Matthew Shevlin netted in each half to record a 2-0 success.

Kearney remarked it was “a workmanlike” performance by his players and heaped praise on Shevlin’s composure for his two goals.

The boss also reflected on his side’s first clean sheet of the season as Martin Gallagher made two fine stops in the opening 45 minutes.

Coleraine are on the road on Tuesday night against Carrick Rangers and Kearney admits he has been impressed by the recent additions made by Stuart King.
