Familiar opposition as Coleraine return to action

COLERAINE kick-start their pre-season preparations with a home clash against fellow Danske Bank Premiership outfit Glenavon (KO 2pm)…

The fixture will give both sides some much needed preparation ahead of Europa League fixtures against Molde and Spartak Subotica. The Lurgan Blues have already been busy adding to their squad as Conor McCloskey, Niall Grace, Gary Muir, Dylan King and Stephen Donnelly have all made the switch to Mourneview Park. Gary Hamilton’s side have already been in pre-season action as Andy Mitchell’s goal was enough to defeat Scottish side Stranraer last weekend.

It is expected that Coleraine supporters will get a first glimpse of summer signing Graham Crown, as well as midfielder Stephen Lowry who re-joined from Linfield. In league action, Coleraine and Glenavon played out three draws, with the Bannsiders sealing a 4-2 win in September.

The game will be an-all cash gate with admission prices set at £5 adults and £3 concessions. Supporters are reminded that season tickets, Academy/Bertie Peacock cards will not work, as well as matchday cards.

As ever, those unable to attend the game can follow the latest developments via the club’s official Twitter account (@ColeraineFC).
