Injuries have hurt spine of team – OK

ORAN Kearney was pleased to see side end a difficult week by gaining all three points against Loughgall at The Showgrounds…

After drawing and losing to Glenavon in consecutive fixtures in both the Premiership and BetMcLean Cup, the Stripes recorded a 3-2 win against Loughgall via goals from Ciaran O’Hara, Lee Lynch and Conor McKendry.

Kearney stated that the mood hadn’t been low in the camp due to recent results but remarked that more goals need to be scored by his side.

The gaffer also stated that it was a bit of a risk by including O’Hara due to his tender age but he had no doubts about his ability to find the back of the net.

Kearney also gave an injury update to a host of players and believes his side have been hurt by losing the ‘spine’ of his team due to setbacks.

Kearney had no complaints with David McDaid’s dismissal and looks ahead to next weekend’s clash against Dungannon Swifts.
