Loan Report

COLERAINE currently have three players out on loan and here’s a recap of how they got on during November…

Eamon Fyfe has linked-up again with former boss Niall Currie at Portadown whilst Lewis Tosh is currently embarking on a second successive loan at Limavady United.

Luca Doherty has also joined the Roesiders on loan as he hopes to gain senior experience under Paul Owens’ leadership.

EAMON FYFE

Eamon played in all six of Portadown’s games in all competitions and netted four times.

The striker would score the winner against Crusaders in the BetMcLean Cup, as well as finding the back of the net in Championship duty against Dergview (4-1 win), Bangor (2-2 draw) and Newington (5-1 win).

The only defeat for Portadown would come at the start of the month against Institute, with Fyfe also playing in the 3-2 win against Loughgall in the semi-final of the Mid-Ulster Cup.

Niall Currie’s side are currently top of the Championship table and will be at home to Loughgall in the quarter-final of the BetMcLean Cup.

LEWIS TOSH

Lewis would start all four of Limavady’s contests in November as they were involved in four different cup competitions.

Toshy would net in the 6-0 win against Desertmartin in the semi-final of the Craig Memorial Cup, before helping the Roesiders pick up a 2-0 success away at Coagh United in the Intermediate Cup.

However, Limavady would lose out in the Irish Cup and BetMcLean Cup to Crumlin Star and Glenavon respectively.

Paul Owens’ side are currently third in the Premier Intermediate standings.

LUCA DOHERTY

Luca was a used substitute in all four of Limavady’s games throughout November as he continues to gain experience.

United booked a Craig Memorial Cup final date against Portstewart on Boxing Day, with fixture details to be released for the North-West Cup final against Institute.

The Roesiders are also in the hat for the third round of the Intermediate Cup.
