Loan Report

COLERAINE currently have three players out on loan and here’s a recap of how they got on during February…

Eamon Fyfe has linked-up again with former boss Niall Currie at Portadown whilst Lewis Tosh is currently embarking on a second successive loan at Limavady United.

Lee Harkin also completed a January deadline day move on loan to Moyola Park for the rest of the campaign.

EAMON FYFE

Eamon played in all five of Portadown’s games in both the Playr-Fit Championship and Irish Cup.

Portadown would start the month with an Irish Cup win against Bangor, with Fyfe then being a used substitute in back-to-back games against Ballyclare Comrades as Portadown won one and drew the other in the Playr-Fit Championship.

Fyfe would then start as Portadown suffered a 4-0 home defeat to Newington and then would play all 90 minutes as Niall Currie’s men came from behind to Ballinamallard United.

March is set to be a busy month for the Ports as they host Cliftonville in the quarter-final of the Irish Cup and Linfield in the BetMcLean Cup final. They will also hope to maintain their push for promotion as they are 4th in the Championship table.

However, Harkin would find the back of the net in the next two games as Moyola beat Dollingstown by a 3-1 scoreline and then a 1-0 success against Ballymacash Rangers.
