McCauley makes exit

COLERAINE FC can confirm that Darren McCauley has left the club to join Scottish side Inverness Caledonian Thistle…

The midfielder – who was offered a new deal to remain at The Showgrounds – has made the move to the Scottish Championship club for a nominal fee, subject to international clearance.

In total, the Derry native made 176 appearances, scoring 45 times during his two spells on the Ballycastle Road.

McCauley will be remembered for opening the scoring in last season’s Irish Cup final against Cliftonville, before finding the net against Spartak Subotica in the Europa League.
