Official Coleraine Podcast: S2 E24

FROM the outset, Greg O’Dowd and Coleraine FC weren’t set to be a match made in heaven…

However, this week’s guest on the Official Coleraine Podcast remains one of the most popular players to ever wear the blue and white stripes.

O’Dowd joined host Damian Mullan and contributor Johnny McNabb on this week’s show as he recapped on time at the club, where he made 87 appearances, scoring fourteen times in the process.

The midfielder reflects on Kenny Shiels’ sacking before being reinstated the next day, scoring at Windsor Park and the regret at not winning the Gibson Cup in 1996/97.

The hour long chat also discusses how the Dubliner enjoyed his recent trip to The Showgrounds and his plans to attend next month’s BetMcLean League Cup final.
