Stewards Request

COLERAINE FC are kindly seeking requests for volunteers to supplement the stewarding team at the club…

Due to the present Covid pandemic, Coleraine Football Club would like to appeal to our fan base for volunteers to assist the stewarding team on home match days.

As a result of the pandemic extra safety requirements/conditions have been imposed on the Club which must be complied with, to continue us being able to allow a limited number of spectators into the ground.

Whereas before, a match could be covered with 14 stewards, now we find ourselves in the position that we now require at least 30 stewards/volunteers to assist on match day to allow us to continue facilitating fans to enter the ground.

We are presently having to engage the services of an outside security company to supplement our stewarding team to meet the requirements at additional expense.

As a volunteer you would be required to be available to assist on match days from:

• 1pm to 5.30pm for matches kicking off at 3pm.
• 6pm to 10.30pm for evening matches kicking off at 7.45pm.

We would therefore ask that if you are a regular attender at Coleraine games that you would consider offering your services as a volunteer.
