Support James’ Cause

COLERAINE supporter and former club videographer James Wilkinson is running the Belfast Marathon next year for a charity close to his heart…

James is widely recognisable as he was the man behind the lenses for the Bannsiders’ win in the BetMcLean Cup final against Crusaders, as well as the memorable Europa League victory away at NK Maribor in 2020.

The coverage, especially in Maribor, helped Coleraine fans who couldn’t travel to Slovenia due to the COVID-19 pandemic feel like they were a part of the action.

James has subsequently completed work for West Ham United but he will be swapping video equipment for running shoes next May as he embarks on the 26.2 mile route alongside three of his friends.

The Portrush man is raising funds to support the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust to give something back as his father has been battling the condition for the last four years.

You can donate to James’ efforts HERE, or alternatively, he is an ever-present figure at games both home and away alongside his mum Helen.

Everyone at Coleraine FC is firmly behind you James and we hope you raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile cause.
