COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney believes his side struggled with several aspects of the game as they slipped to their first defeat of the season…

Two first half goals ultimately did the damage as Kyle Cherry’s header and David Cushley’s penalty earned the Amber Army their first win against Coleraine since November 2016.

Kearney remarked that his side failed to get their foot on the ball and create chances throughout the 90 minutes and that a few of his players looked like they were feeling sorry for themselves.

The boss also gave a fitness update on Matthew Shevlin who missed out through injury ahead of this weekend’s visit of Larne to The Showgrounds.
